Customers
Email, name, phone, note, tags, tax exempt and default address. Matched by ID, then email.
Smart collections
Conditions as rows — “Tag · is equal to · summer” — with all/any matching. Shopify's names and symbols work too.
Manual collections
One product per row by handle or ID. Add products, or make the list exactly what's in the file with Replace mode.
One file, many sheets
Export any mix of products, customers and collections into one Excel file; import it back as one job per sheet.

Customers
One row per customer. Phone numbers are checked for a country code, and country names such as “Portugal” become codes automatically. Shopify's customer CSV headers are recognised.
Marketing consent, orders count and amount spent are exported for reference and never imported — consent must come from the customer. Customers with orders can't be deleted.
Collections
Smart and manual collections are matched by ID, then Handle. A collection's details — title, description, sort order, image and SEO — go on its first row; every row can carry one condition or one product.
- The conditions in a file replace the collection's conditions.
- Listed products are added; in Replace mode the list becomes the whole product list.
- New collections aren't published to sales channels automatically — publish them in Shopify admin.
- Undo deletes created collections, restores fields and conditions, and puts removed products back.
Can I import customers from another platform?
Yes, from any CSV or Excel file with an Email column. Shopify's customer CSV headers work as-is; other files may need their headers renamed to match the column reference.
Can I import email marketing consent?
No. Consent is exported for reference only. It must be collected from the customer, so Bulkvane never changes it.
Do workbooks from other bulk apps work?
Sheets named Products, Customers, Collections, Smart Collections or Custom Collections are each imported as their own job, with their own preview and undo.
