Install Bulkvane and run your first export

Install

1. Open Bulkvane on the Shopify App Store and click Install.
2. Approve the permissions. Bulkvane reads and writes products, collections, files, inventory and customers only so it can export and import them — see Security & data for why each is needed.
3. You land on the Bulkvane home page inside your Shopify admin. The Free plan is active straight away; paid plans start with a 7-day free trial.

Export your data

1. Open Export.
2. Choose one or more data types — Products, Collections, Customers — and the filters and columns for each. The page shows how many records each type has.
3. Choose Excel (.xlsx) or CSV. Several data types always go into one Excel file with a sheet per type.
4. Start the export. It runs in the background using Shopify's Bulk Operations API; you can leave the page.
5. Download the file from the job page when it's ready. On paid plans, you can also get an email.

Save it as a template

Click Save as template to keep the data types, filters, columns and format under a name. Next time, start the export from the template in two clicks — or ask your AI assistant to run it.

Export from the Products list

In Shopify admin, select products in your Products list, open More actions and choose Export with Bulkvane to export just those products.
