Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another AI assistant

Create a token, connect your assistant to Bulkvane's MCP server, and what it can and can't do.

1. Create a token

In Bulkvane, open Settings → AI assistants and click Generate token. The token is shown once — copy it somewhere safe. Bulkvane stores only a hash of it.

2. Connect your app

Claude: Add to Claude opens Claude's connector settings with the server URL copied. Claude then asks you to sign in on Bulkvane's page, where you paste your token.
Cursor: one-click install from the Cursor card.
ChatGPT Desktop: add a connector with the server URL and an Authorization: Bearer header with your token.
Claude Code: run the command shown in the app.
Other apps: any app that supports remote MCP servers (Streamable HTTP) works with the server URL and your token.

3. Ask

“Why did my last import skip rows?”
“Give me a health report for my catalog.”
“Export all draft products from Nordhem to Excel.”
“How many customers are tagged VIP?”
“Run my ‘Weekly backup’ template.”

Assistant tools are read-only for your store: they can look things up and start exports, but can't change products, customers or collections. Every request is recorded in an audit log, download links expire after 15 minutes, and each token is limited to 120 requests a minute.

To disconnect an assistant, revoke its token in Settings → AI assistants. Every session signed in with it ends at once.

Starting an export, running a template, counting records and the health report count as actions: 5 a month on Free, 500 on Starter, 2,500 on Growth and 10,000 on Pro. Looking up jobs, errors, templates and your plan is free.
